This weekend marked the beginning of the 2010 wedding season for me, which I have to admit I was thrilled I wasn’t stuck in a blizzard travelling to Toronto! The unseasonably mild weather apparently also struck a chord in my boy who insisted that I needed some pink tulips which were waiting for me upon my return from wedding number 1 this weekend.
Tulips are one of my favourite flowers, if it is possible to even have a favourite. They are a clear indication that winter is over and spring is here and that means summer can’t be far behind…. even though these tulips came in a pot, instead of sprouting from the ground they still bring me hope of spring.
SO, I thought, I’d take some photos of them… well the boy thought he might like to give it a whirl too…
